B2B fuel marketplace with multi-round price negotiation.
GT Platform is a B2B marketplace for fuel, oil, diesel, gas, and bioethanol trading in the Ukrainian market. Structurally similar to Airbnb — suppliers list offerings at physical bases (fuel storage locations), and business customers can browse prices, densities, and available amounts, then create orders, negotiate terms, sign contracts digitally, process payments, and arrange pickup logistics. The client, ********, is a Ukrainian fuel business owner with three existing bases who wants to digitize his operations and expand into a marketplace where partners and competitors can also list their offerings and services (fuel sales, tank storage rental, blending, tax services).
This client is bound by a non-disclosure agreement, so names, visuals and figures on this page are obfuscated. Need more detail? Reach out and we'll share what we can.
Challenge.
Client challenge: client's company had an existing platform built on 1C (a Ukrainian/Russian accounting and ERP system). The 1C-based customer interface was ugly, extremely slow, and customers refused to use it. He needed a modern frontend that would drive adoption while preserving his existing 1C backend for accounting and order management. During discovery, the scope changed approximately 50% as real requirements surfaced — a typical outcome when moving from a vague vision to actual product definition.
Technical challenges: Building a middleware layer to integrate with the legacy 1C platform. Complex multi-round negotiation workflow for orders (customers propose prices, suppliers counter, both parties iterate until agreement). Integration with Ukrainian digital signature providers for legally binding contract execution. Real-time currency rates from local bank APIs. Commodity price feeds. News scraping from Ukrainian oil and fuel industry sources via Puppeteer. Map-based UX for base locations using Mapbox.
Cultural challenge: The client's existing team operates with bureaucratic processes, while Reliqio operates as a fast, agile startup environment. This mismatch created friction and some wasted time on unnecessary formalities.
Solution.
Built a Node.js/NestJS middleware layer between the legacy 1C backend and a modern React frontend. The architecture preserves the client's entire existing accounting and order infrastructure while delivering a fast, professional user interface. Designed and developed within 2.5-3 months. Implemented the full order lifecycle: browse bases and offerings → compare options → create order → negotiate price and terms → digitally sign contract → process payment → arrange pickup logistics.

Features.
Subprojects.
Single platform currently. The client relationship includes three additional products: mental health AI app (in progress, under NDA), and two further AI-heavy products not yet started. All stem from the same client relationship.
